In collaboration with Lauren Lutson, Ryan Lannoye, and Samuel Gillen to develop Kanine, a dog dental care brand addressing the overlooked importance of canine oral health. Many pet owners lack awareness of dental hygiene’s role in their dog's overall wellness, and existing kits often fall short in usability and branding.
Kanine stands out by offering a friendly yet premium solution that makes daily dental care easy, trustworthy, and routine-friendly.
Research
By three years of age, 75-85% of dogs will already have some degree of gum disease if
they don't regularly receive oral care.
Ideally, dog owners should brush their pets
teeth 1–3 times a week, but only 18% actually do.
Problem Statement
Dog owners often lack awareness about their dogs' dental health. However, existing dental kits often lack storage functionality and a strong brand presence, making it difficult to establish a routine and build trust.
